Data Format (since April 2024)
1. | Observation times are Japan Standard Time (UTC +9). |
2. | Solar radiation data are written in the scale of the World Radiometric Reference (WRR). Infrared radiation data are based on the universal standard to ensure traceability to the World Infrared Standard Group of Pyrgeometers (WISG). |
3. | Hourly data are integrated values covering the period from 01 min of one hour to 00 min of the next (e.g., hourly data for 09 are integrated values covering the period from 08 h 01 m to 09 h 00 m). |
4. | Daily data are integrated values covering the period from 01 to 24 hours. Monthly average and maximum data are calculated from hourly and daily data. |
5. | Data are displayed in MJ/m2 and rounded to the nearest hundredth, with decimals omitted. |
6. | Missing hourly data are shown as “XXX” when no value is available due to problems with observation instruments or other issues. |
7. | Missing daily data are shown as “XXXX” when no hourly data are available. Daily data are shown as incomplete with “]” to the right of the value if not all hourly data are missing. |
8. | Monthly data are shown as “XXX” or “XXXX” when all daily data are missing or incomplete. Monthly data are shown as incomplete with “]” to the right of the values or “*]” below the values when the period excluding missing or incomplete daily data is less than 20 days.
“*)” below monthly data indicates that the period excluding missing or incomplete daily data is 20 days or more. |
9. | N indicates the number of dates without missing or incomplete values in the month. |
10. | Monthly averages are calculated from data without missing or incomplete values. |
