Inhibition of south-earth-sensor-scan operation for MTSAT-2 from 30 April to 1 May, 2015


Inhibited south-earth-sensor-scan operation for MTSAT-2 is scheduled to take place from 
22:17 UTC on 30 April to 02:17 UTC 1 May, 2015 to avoid lunar intrusion.
As a result, positional gaps may appear in all images of MTSAT-2 observations made during 
the following period, and image quality may be adversely affected:

        23 UTC on 30 April - 02 UTC on 1 May, 2015
