Inhibited north-earth-sensor-scan operation for MTSAT-2 is scheduled to take place from
16:17 UTC to 22:17 UTC on 28 December, 2014 to avoid Lunar intrusion.
As a result, positional gaps may appear in all images of MTSAT-2 observations made during
the following period, and image quality may be adversely affected:
